Graduate Research: APA and Motor Performance Laboratory
APA graduate students can take full advantage of our well-equipped laboratory for their thesis and research projects. The Adapted Physical Activity and Motor Performance Laboratory is equipped with various biomedical research tools, including underwater 3D motion analysis system, instrumented treadmill for gait analysis with suspension harness, Neurocom Smart EquiTest Balance System, Peak Modus video-based motion analysis system, Vicon Nexus motion analysis system, Cosmed K4B2 telemetric portable metabolic system (with aquatic adapter), Biodex System 3 strength dynamometer, Microfet digital muscle strength tester, Biodex balance system, Kistler portable forceplate, movable floor pool, underwater treadmills, and so forth. Students can also have access to other Kinesiology laboratories depending on their research interests.
