Joseph Drown Foundation Grant

- Written in support of center operations, the Magaram Center Internship Program, and the nutrition College Bowl. (Awarded December 2008. Amount $180,000)

The Cedar Hill Foundation Grant

- Written in support of the Nutrition Tip Book publication, the Faculty Research Grant, and the Women's Health Conference. (Not Awarded. Amount $30,000)

The General Mills Grant

- Written in support of the Kids Cooking class program (Not Awarded. Amount 10,000)

CSUN Center for Innovative and Engaged Learning Opportunities Project Support

USDA Grant - Promoting a New Farmer's Market at California State University, Northridge

S. Mark Taper Foundation Grant

- Written in support of the Nutrition Assessment Laboratory and the Institute of Community Health and Wellbeing (Pending. $175,000)

NIH Grant - Stimulus Money to upgrade existing Lab space

- Written in Collaboration with the Department of Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, and Psychology. The Magaram Center component is written in support of upgrades to the Thieriot Sensory Food Science Laboratory to include a metabolic kitchen and the Food Science Food Analysis Laboratory. (Pending.
