Nutrition has been a passion of mine for longer than I can remember and I feel so blessed to be graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition as well as a minor in Sports Medicine. As a senior at Pepperdine University and the President of the Student Dietetic Association, I have gained an enormous amount of experience and education that will allow me to excel as I continue to pursue my RD credential. I hope to pursue sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, and private counseling in the future, but I am excited to see where this career path will lead me. I believe RDs truly have the ability to make a difference and that the path begins with knowledge. That being said, participating in the Nutrition College Bowl is an honor and I'm looking forward to representing Pepperdine University on March 10th.

I am a senior Nutritional Science major at Pepperdine University and Vice President of the Student Dietetic Association on campus. I have grown up in the Los Angeles area and though I have done a lot of traveling I am hoping to further expand my world view by attending a dietetic internship on the east coast. After I complete my internship and sit for the RD exam I hope to obtain my masters degree. I am very interested in clinical nutrition. I am excited about all of the opportunities there are currently in this area and also about the opportunities that our generation of RDs might be able to introduce. This will be my first time competing in the Nutrition College Bowl and I looking forward to this opportunity.

I am a senior at Pepperdine University. I was born and raised in Southern California, and have always had a passion for outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, snowboarding, and running. Coming from a diverse family, my passion for nutrition first developed as a child when I learned to cook from my parents and grandparents. This is my first time attending the Nutrition Bowl and I am looking forward to congregating and hearing from other students who share this common interest.
