Central Washington University NCB Team
I am a senior attending Central Washington University. I will be graduating soon with my degree in Food Science and Nutrition with a specialization in dietetics. I am hoping to do many things after I graduate. I am hoping to obtain my Registered Dietitian certification and then move on to get my master’s and hopefully my PhD. I would like to work with cancer patients, I had a wonderful field experience working in a cancer facility and I find it very fascinating. Later in life I would really like to have my own business and work clients who are obese and help them get on the right track for a healthy lifestyle.
I am a senior nutrition major at CWU. I hope to become a clinical dietitian in a hospital. I love to hike, snowshoe, cook and work out. I am very excited to compete in the Nutrition College Bowl.
Ariana De Robles
I am a senior from Central Washington University born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. I am thankful for my upbringing as I was born into a Mexican household where I grew up learning to converse in both Spanish and English. I took a great interest in health, specifically the nutritional aspect when I changed my overall lifestyle into a much healthier one that included better eating habits and incorporating physical activity. I am an avid runner alongside my dog Leo, and enjoy Cross Fit training. I will be completing my degree in Nutrition with a specialization in dietetics, while minoring in Exercise Science in Summer 2012.
I am a second year graduate student at Central Washington University. My area of specialization for my thesis is culturally sensitive health programs. I plan on doing my dietetic internship for the year 2012/2013 and I would like to work as a clinical dietitian and do some community nutrition work on the side. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and biking with my 2 dogs Kiya and Zaid. I was a member of the Nutrition College Bowl Team in 2010, an assistant coach 2011, and I am excited to be the head coach for 2012.
