Liz Williams is a graduating senior dietetics student. She is currently the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics liaison for CSU Chico's Nutrition and Food Science Association. Liz has a passion for clinical dietetics and is currently working as a catering associate at the hospital. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking and going to the gym.
Kendra Schapansky is a graduating senior in dietetics. As the current President of the Nutrition and Food Science Association, she keeps herself involved in campus and community events. She is also a nutrition mentor for a campus program called FitU. Her passion for dietetics is not all she is interested in; she also enjoys hanging out with her friends and swimming on sunny days.
Stephanie McKinley is a graduating senior in dietetics. She hopes to be matched with a Dietetic Internship this April. This semester, she is interning for the student recreation center at Chico State, providing individual counseling and group classes on nutrition topics pertinent to college students. Along with her love for nutrition, she enjoys being active outside, and has recently gotten involved in triathlons and will be completing her second half Ironman this July. Living a healthy and active lifestyle is important to her and she hopes that she can share her love for nutrition with others in the future.
Emily Ramsey is a graduating senior in dietetics and plans to attend graduate school beginning in the fall. She has a passion for community nutrition and sustainable food systems. She currently works for the Center for Nutrition and Activity Promotion, where she helps promote nutrition and physical activity messages in community schools. In her free time she enjoys skiing, tennis, and the outdoors.
Summer Lan Franco graduated from Chico State this fall. She is currently working in the Marin County and applying to dietetic internships. She is the former president of the Nutrition and Food Science Association on campus. Summer has a special interest in working in addictions counseling. She loves meeting new people, and in her free time, Summer enjoys cooking, dancing, and hanging out with friends.
Dr. Dawn Clifford has been a faculty member at Chico State since 2007 after completing her doctorate in Nutrition Science at Colorado State University. She is the Didactic Program in Dietetics Director and teaches courses in clinical nutrition, nutrition counseling and education, and careers in dietetics. Dr. Clifford enjoys spending time with her son and her husband and riding her bike to work.
