Marilyn Magaram Center

The Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics provides a framework for collaboration among students, professionals, businesses, community organizations, and industries in related fields. Through these interdisciplinary alliances the Center promotes the study of food science, nutrition and dietetics and distributes this knowledge to students, professionals, and the community.

The Marilyn Magaram Center is sponsored by Cal State Northridge’s Department of Family & Consumer Sciences as an auxiliary organization. The Center supports research, education, and community services that are specific to food science, nutrition and dietetics. It also serves to provide programs not normally offered through University curriculum and programs.
