Our teaching faculty in the DPD have unique backgrounds in nutrition,
dietetics, research, epidemiology, nutritional
counseling, food science, biochemistry, pharmacology,
fitness, hospital dietetics, management, and food
product development.
The
Facilities
Family & Consumer Science’s Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science,
Nutrition and Dietetics offers a state of the art
environment for developing the skills needed to become a
highly qualified professional in the field of
dietetics/nutrition. High-tech laboratories, light
controlled sensory evaluation stations, our Child &
Family Studies Center, and a modern computer lab are
available to our students.
