Graduate employment
Employment Rate: Over a five-year period, 70% or more of DI graduates who sought employment in dietetics will be employed within three months of program completion.
33.3% of graduates will be employed at a Community or WIC position within three months of program completion.
66.6% of graduates will apply and be employed in other areas of dietetics within three months of program completion.
50% of graduates will be working at a higher position in dietetics, 3 years after graduation.
Pass rate of first-time test takers on the registration examination
Over a five-year period, the pass rate for DI graduates taking the registration examination for the first time will be at least 80%.
Completion of Spanish and Cultural Sensitivity class
90% of interns will complete a Spanish and cultural sensitivity class with a grade of B or better and/or a certificate of completion for cultural sensitivity class.
80% of graduates will respond that they are more comfortable providing nutrition counseling in a multicultural setting and using the Spanish language.
80% of preceptors will respond that the interns are more comfortable providing nutrition counseling in a multicultural setting and using the Spanish language at the end of the internship.
80% of employers will respond that the graduates are comfortable providing nutrition counseling in a multicultural setting and using the Spanish language
50% of graduates will respond that they have improved their counseling in a multicultural setting and Spanish language, 3 years post graduation.
Completion of Research Methods class
90% of all interns will Complete FCS 681 and 682 research methods classes with a grade of B or better
80% of interns will respond the program prepared them for collection, analysis and interpretation of research at the end of the internship program.
