Students from the department of Health Sciences collaborate to offer workshops, a speakers’ bureau, conduct research and provide health oriented activities of interest to the community.
Child & Adolescent Development Association
Provides career, academic and professional development for Child and Adolescent Development students through community interaction.
Environmental & Occupational Health Student Association
Students from the department of Environmental and Occupational Health organize events featuring guest speakers, field trips, and informational interviews about Environmental & Occupational Health professions. Events are frequently open campus wide, and focus on strengthening professional alliances for majors.
RN to BSN Student Association
Designed for Health Sciences students in the RN to BSN program, the Association emphasizes the practice of professional nursing, including the design of nursing systems to provide assistance to individuals, families, groups, and communities toward optimal wellness.
Physical Therapy Club
Physical Therapy students sponsor workshops, health fairs and arrange lectures to facilitate interaction with the rest of the CSUN community. Students also have the opportunity to participate in activities with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for career development.
Trends
Family & Consumer Sciences students in the Apparel Design & Merchandising program participate in this student club for career development opportunities. Club members produce an annual on-campus fashion show featuring commercial fashion and student creations.
