SHAC (Student Health Advisory Committee)
This student-led committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Director of the Klotz Student Health Center to help identify student needs as well as develop, implement, and refine services to meet those needs. SHAC is the student voice of the Klotz Student Health Center. SHAC acts as an advisory board to the health center staff, voicing the opinions and needs of the CSUN campus. SHAC Responsibilities:
- Educating students about resources of the Klotz Student Health Center.
- Conducting outreach to build health center visibility throughout campus.
- Assessing health center programs to ensure student needs are met.
- Recommending policy changes to better meet student needs.
- Administering and collecting information through patient surveys.
