2023 Jerome Richfield Memorial Scholar: Myriam Forster

CSUN's Research and Sponsored Programs has announced that Myriam Forster (Health Sciences/Public Health) has been named the 2023 Jerome Richfield Memorial Fellow. Forster's work focuses on the role of early life course adversity in adolescent and young adult health outcomes. One significant adversity, familial incarceration, impacts millions of US children: predominantly youth of color and youth living in low-income communities.  Read More About the Fellowship

The first-ever HHD College-wide conference started with an, "I'd like to do..." in the spring of 2022, and by the fall, had grown into a robust, diverse, and inspiring conference event that showcased a great deal of what we do in HHD. And it happened because of the engagement of students, faculty, staff.
