With more than 4,000 developing technologies that enable persons with disabilities to live more productive, independent and fulfilling lives, the academic discipline of Assistive Technology Studies and Human Services (ATHS, offered by HHD through Tseng College) helps meet the demand for Assistive Technology (AT) specialists, providing them with a variety of skills and knowledge to ensure that AT users are able to access and benefit fully from advances in the field. Highlighting Our Original Stewards

The project, "Highlighting Our Original Stewards: Designing Moments and Places of Reflection, Healing, Advocacy, and Learning" is being created to formally recognize the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians (FTBMI) and other Indigenous groups that walked the lands where CSUN currently stands. The objective is to promote and increase holistic well-being practices around campus through a designed installation. Read More About the Tour

Strengthening Food Networks Over the Holidays: Radiologic Sciences Students Volunteer

During the final months of the fall 2022 semester, the Radiologic Sciences Student Association (RSSA) (Health Sciences) participated in two community service opportunities: a canned food drive for the Valley Food Bank and the Northridge Hospital Holiday Jam. Throughout November, the RSSA held a canned food drive for the Valley Food Bank, which provides food to a network of food pantries, rescue missions, and non-profit organizations. In December, five RSSA members had the privilege of volunteering at Northridge Hospital’s Holiday Jam.  Read More About this Event
