Steven Loy, Ph.D. is an exercise physiologist with current emphasis on creating more visibility for the field of Kinesiology in the Public Health arena. He has developed 100 Citizens, a student delivered FREE exercise program for the community, which has been recognized at the White House as an example of what the profession of Kinesiology can do to improve the public’s health, particularly in underserved communities. This program follows a history of applying exercise physiology to solve health related problems in the real world which has included the Los Angeles Fire Department, LA County Public Health, Phoenix House, El Clasificado and many other companies and institutions.
