Belinda Stillwell received a B.A. in Physical Education from California State University, Long Beach. She earned a M.A. degree in Physical Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Ph.D. in Physical Education, Curriculum and Instruction/Secondary Education from Arizona State University.
Additionally, Dr. Stillwell holds the following credentials: an Arizona Lifetime Community Colleges Teaching Certificate - Physical Education, a California Lifetime Community Colleges Instructor Credential - Public Services and Administration, an Arizona Standard Elementary/Secondary Certificate - Physical Education, a California Multiple-Subjects Teaching Credential, and a California Single-Subject Teaching Credential - Physical Education.
Dr. Stillwell’s primary research focus is in the area aquatics. Specifically, she is interested in creating and implementing specialized swimming curriculum and instruction designed to help those students who are afraid in the water.
