Bethany Wexler Rainisch, Ph.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor in Health Promotion at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Dr. Rainisch has a background in molecular biology, and a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University in behavioral science and health education. She recently completed her Ph.D. from UCLA in public health. Bethany’s research focus is on adolescent stress and development and biodemography, the study of population health through biological markers. She has strong skills in quantitative methodology and theories of behavior change. Dr. Rainisch values community education, and active learning among her students.
