Biography

Professor Alvord is the Director of Operations for Newhall County Water District. He has over 18 years of experience in the water industry. He has earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Biology and an M.S. in Environmental and Occupational Health (both from CSUN). He is also a licensed Water Treatment Operator (Grade III) and Water Distribution Operator (Grade V) with California Department of Public Health. He also teaches part-time for College of the Canyons. He currently teaches EOH 457.
