Earned a B.S. (biology and chemistry) from North Park University, Chicago and a M.S. in EOH from CSUN. Professor Miller taught secondary school science (biology, environmental science, physical science) for many years before becoming an Environmental Health Specialist for Ventura County. There, she developed HACCP training and other related food safety programs for diverse audiences, ranging from food handlers to medical interns. She teaches EOH 554 for Masters in Public Health (MPH) majors.
