Announcements

.

The application and guidelines are currently available for the 2010-2011 CSUN Competition for Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity Awards. Faculty may apply for 3 units of release time or a $5,000 mini-grant. The deadline for submission is Monday, March 1, 2010.

On February 17, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). This has resulted in a number of research grant opportunities being issued by many federal agencies. For a listing of federal agency informational websites including their participation in the Recovery Act please view the website: http://www.grants.gov/applicants/recovery.jsp.

An analysis of the federal R&D funding provided by the stimulus bill has been issued by the Advancing Science Serving Society (ASSS) and can be viewed at: http://www.aaas.org/spp/rd/stim09c.htm.

View Dr. Mack Johnson's presentation on grant opportunities resulting from the stimulus bill.
