As a member of UNIFIED WE SERVE students get to participate in a variety of community service events. These events have included:
AIDS Walk, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Walk, Lupus Walk, Autism Walk, Zumbathon for Breast Cancer Research, Haiti Benefit Concert, Hope for Japan Benefit Concert, Autism Speaks fundraisers, Relay for Life (Cancer Research).
Adopt-A-Family for Thanksgiving Program, MEND Super Saturday Assessment Program, CSUN Campus Clothing & Food Drive, Cesar Chavez Service Fair, School Beautification Project, Leadership Development Program for Youth, Reading to Kids, Youth Mentorship, Community Beautification Projects, Veterans Letter Writing Campaign.
Survive The Night, Poverty Simulation, Hunger Banquet, Autism Simulation, Social Justice Training.
Members of UNIFIED WE SERVE are expected to commit to two requirements: 1) Attend UNIFIED WE SERVE meetings twice a month (see "Events" for a list of meeting dates and times); and, 2) Serve 25 hours of service throughout the academic year by attending UNIFIED WE SERVE events (by doing so, you will earn the President's Volunteer Service Award).
**Note: You can still be a member of UNIFIED WE SERVE if you are not able to attend the meetings; in order to still be a member, designate on the "Membership Form" that you are not able to make meetings but will attend the events.
