Officer Tools

There are a few requirements to hold the office of President, Vice President, or Treasurer (or similar offices) in a CSUN student club or organization based on the campus and system wide policies. Your organization may have additional requirements.

Requirements for Undergraduate Student Leaders:

  • Currently matriculated at CSUN
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA each term (Fall and Spring Semester)
  • Must be in Good Standing (not on academic, disciplinary or administrative probation)
  • Must earn 6 semester units per term while holding office
  • Allowed to earn a maximum of 150 semester units or 125 percent of units required for specific degree

Requirements for Graduate/Credential Student Leaders:

  • Currently matriculated at CSUN
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA each term (Fall and Spring Semester)
  • Must be in Good standing ( not on academic, disciplinary or administrative probation)
  • Must earn 3 semester units per term while holding office
  • Allowed to earn a maximum of 50 semester units or 167 percent of units required for specific degree
