Directions and Guidelines

  • Meet the Clubs Day will be on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 both from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Your organization must have at least one representative at your table all times from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m.
  • A representative from each organization must check-in by 10:50 a.m., before setting up their table.
  • After 10:50 a.m. all unclaimed tables will be given to clubs on the waiting list.
  • A maximum of 4 members of each club/ organization will be allowed at each table.
  • Banners, flags, are encouraged as long as they do not interfere with another club/organization's location.
  • Materials you would like to distribute must be approved by the Matador Involvement Center by Thursday, August 21st.
  • Each club/organization must have their table and surrounding area cleaned-up at the time of departure.
  • In the event of rain, the fair will be rescheduled for a later date.

Helpful Hints

  • Make it festive! Bring pictures, banners, or anything else you can think of to help draw people to your table. Please remember to bring any supplies you'll need, like tape.
  • You are encouraged to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sun block. It will most likely be sunny! (There will be a limited number of tables under canopy)
  • Bring pen and paper to write down names, addresses, phone #'s, etc. of students interested in your organization.
  • Bring any club flyers, brochures, pictures, etc. Creativity is encouraged!
  • Show your school spirit and wear CSUN's school colors, black and red!
  • If there is downtime during the day, network with other clubs.
  • And the most important rule, have fun!


These directions, guidelines, and hints have been created in order to make this a successful and fun event for each club.

With your cooperation, everyone will have the opportunity to be represented. Should an incident arise that is not covered under these guidelines, resolution will be at the discretion of the Matador Involvement Center.
