Meet the Clubs Day
This event offers clubs and organizations an opportunity to have greater visibility and recruit new membership early in the Fall and Spring semesters. New and returning students, faculty and staff can see the many opportunities for involvement on campus in a centralized, energetic and festive setting!
Clubs & Organizations - Annual Recognition Conference
The Clubs & Organizations - Annual Recognition Conference is mandatory for all student groups seeking University Recognition for the upcoming academic year. At least one officer must attend the entire conference (President and/or Treasurer strongly recommended). Students cannot represent more than one club or organization. You can expect a day full of opportunities to:
- Develop your personal leadership abilities
- Learn organizational success skills
- Learn about University policies and resources
- Network with other student leaders
Advisor Workshop
New and continuing advisors are offered updated information about campus policies and procedures in addition to guidelines for limiting liability. Faculty and staff advisors are a mandatory component for University Recognition as well as a critical element for a student organization's success.
Clubs & Organizations Awards Ceremony
This program highlights the accomplishments of the student leaders and organizations that have had a significant impact on the CSUN community. There are a number of awards presented, including "Outstanding Organization of the Year." At this event we acknowledge those students and clubs that have achieved the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the completion of the AmeriCorps Programs.
