The purpose of this organization is to promote awareness of Asian American culture throughout campus and beyond. At its core, our organization seeks to encourage others to be open to learning about different Asian American ethnic cultures. This organization will unify students from different backgrounds with an emphasis on Asian American culture.

The Chicana/o Graduate Students strives to better serve their community and department while supporting each member in their pursuit of higher education.
Chinese Student Association
The purpose of this organization is to enhance friendship among members and promote greater awareness and appreciation for the latest developments coming from Chinese society, and to help incoming Chinese students become comfortably integrated.
Christian Students at CSUN
The Christian Students Club strives to make God's eternal purpose in His economy known to students in order that God can dispense Himself into His chosen people.
Computer Science and Technology Club
The primary focus of the Computer Science and Technology Club is to aid and encourage future undergraduates from various high schools and community colleges to pursue a career in a STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics). The club will also funnel said students into the California State University at Northridge Computer Science Department through freshman and transfer student applications.
CSUN American Society for Quality (ASQ)
The American Society for Quality encourages and provides the means for the development of professional skills in students, while informing them as to the nature and the incentives of entering into a profession concerned with quality.
The CSUN Cheerleading Squad promotes the University's athletic programs and provides an opportunity for the Cheerleading team to compete in cheerleading competitions against other university sponsored programs.
CSUN Council for Exceptional Children Student Chapter
The purpose of this chapter shall be to advance the education of individuals with exceptionalities and to promote related educational, scientific, and charitable purposes. Specifically, the chapter intends to assist and provide support to the California state/provincial unit of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) in all its efforts on behalf of persons with exceptionalities, and to participate in all appropriate governance activities of CEC subject to the general supervision and control of CEC.
CSUN Fast-Pitch Softball Club
We, the CSUN Fast-Pitch Softball Club, will make it our goal to give CSUN students the opportunity to play competitive college softball while building lasting relationships with one another that are based upon understanding, commitment, and camaraderie.
CSUN Filipino American Student Assocation (FASA)
The Filipino American Student Association provides activities that promote closer unity among Filipino Americans and involves Filipino Americans in the propagation and maintenance of the Filipino cultural and historical heritage.
CSUN Matador Speech and Debate Team
The CSUN Matador Speech and Debate Team encourages students to participate in public speaking events and to compete in speeches and debate tournaments.
CSUN Medieval and Renaissance Society (MARS)
The Medieval and Renaissance Society strives to recreate the Middle Ages and the Renaissance eras by promoting historical dancing, music, costuming, and handcrafts for educational purposes.
CSUN Printmaking Society strives to create and encourage a sense of community amongst students interested in printmaking. They support the exchange of information and ideas as well as encouraging involvement in the print community, both inside and outside of academia.
The Social Work Society creates a voice for the MSW (Master of Social Work) students as well as forms a working relationship with the faculty and administration to improve on social work and social work education.

CSUN Students for Israel strives to bring a greater understanding of the state of Israel by providing educational opportunities in regards to Israeli politics, current events, history, and culture to the entire faculty, staff, and student populations at Cal State University, Northridge.

Indian Student Association (ISA CSUN)
The purpose of the Indian Students Association, CSUN (ISA CSUN) is a platform for social network amongst both Indian and non-Indian students at CSUN. ISA CSUN strives to fulfill the following goals through helping Indian students to acclimate to the new cultural environment, encouraging students to get involved on campus, organizing cross cultural education events and creating an enjoyable and friendly environment where Indian students involve with other students and learn from each other.

The Iranian Student Association's purpose shall be the promotion of Iranian Culture. The organizations aim will be to provide students with an understanding of Iranian culture, history, politics, and heritage through events and student interactions.

Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority
Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. is an academic, community, social, and multicultural sorority. We are a solid network of women in higher education, who have chosen to unite in order to enhance our college experiences. Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. was founded with the purpose of creating a support system for women once they have entered the university. We provide our members a family away from home - in order to facilitate the retention of motivated students. Through the support its' members offer each other, Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. has developed a strong, safe and loving environment where friendships grow, characters build, knowledge is shared, and a multicultural sisterhood is created.
Lebanese Student Association
We, the members and board of Lebanese Student Association, want to promote the Lebanese culture at CSUN and to unite and serve the Lebanese community. Also, to educate the CSUN general student body about Lebanon, the Lebanese people and culture. As well as form a closely knit Lebanese community on campus.
Management Information Systems Association (MISA)
The Management Information Systems Association offers an active organization to students pursuing any major with an interest in computer applications and promotes an atmosphere conductive to achievement.
Matador Pedal Sports of CSUN
The purpose of this organization is to educate and familiarize students and members of the campus community with the principles of building Human Powered Vehicles (HPVs) which are engineered for competitive events as well as everyday commuting. The club also aims to extract talent from the student body on campus for representation at regional and national HPV Competitions.
Matador Women's Soccer Club
Matador Women's Soccer Club provides students with an opportunity to develop athletic skill, become better teammates, and individual growth through sportsmanship, teamwork, and passion for play.
Microbiology Students Association
The Microbiology Students Association encourages a sense of community among the students of CSUN who hold an interest in microbiology, provide counseling and guidance opportunities to new members, and enhance the understanding of student research.
The MTO Sufi Association, a non-profit student organization, seeks to raise awareness of the spiritual aspect of human beings, and to create a supportive community to enhance the development of the individual in all its totality. Sufism teaches the path to Self-cognition and believes a successful human society is attained through the outward and inward harmony of each of its members, and their harmonious existence in a unified system. Without achieving this, acceptance and peace will never be attained. We hope to foster dialogue and understanding amongst different religious/spiritual/philosophical groups to create "a bridge between religions." We strive to be innovators for social and educational change to bring a constant spiritual measure necessary to eliminating prejudice and intolerance.

We adhere to the rules set forward in this constitution, the rules and regulations of California State University Northridge guidelines for participation, and the standards of the national association of Pi Sigma Alpha.

The Sculpture Organization is for students interested in sculpture. The Sculpture Organization supports the growth of ideas, skills, and techniques that are used to create, understand, and discuss sculpture. The Sculpture Organization will also encourage professional development in both a social and academic atmosphere.

Society for Physics Students-Northridge Chapter
The Society of Physics Students develops collegiality among students, faculty members, and the community to broaden the understanding of physics at California State University, Northridge. We are actively engaged in promoting public interest in physics, stimulating interest in physics research and advance study, and assisting students to develop the competence, enthusiasm, and social responsibility essential for the advancement of physics. The Society of Physics Students also provides liaison between students and the member societies of the American Institute of Physics.
Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE)
The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering stimulates student interest in the scientific and engineering developments in the fields of materials and processes, and familiarizes students with the career opportunities.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
The Society of Automotive Engineers strives to provide its members opportunities to gain broader insight into the profession by sponsoring meetings which brings practicing engineers to the campus.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers encourages scientists and mathematicians within a body of technical disciplines to creates valuable relations with all academic fields, and encourage participation in the Latino culture.
Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
The purpose of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers is to achieve unity among the engineering and computer science organizations of CSUN, through joint activities; facilitate the transfer of knowledge between upper and lower classmen; and serve the needs of the College of Engineering and Computer Science students through special services.
Society of Professional Journalists
The Society of Professional Journalists strives to assist their members in acquiring the noblest principles of journalism and to cooperate with them in this field, and in order to advance the standard of the press by fostering a higher ethical code, thus increasing its value as an uplifting social agency.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
The Society of Women Engineers is dedicated to making known the need for women engineers by encouraging young women to succeed in their studies and careers.
The organization Sojourners Fellowship - affiliated with Community Christian Alliance Church (CCAC) of Northridge, California - seeks to spread awareness of the Christian faith to students who seek to learn more. Their desire is to reach out to CSUN students who wish to learn more about what the Christian faith has to offer them. Also, Sojourners Fellowship wishes to be an outlet for people who identify themselves as Christians to ground themselves in a local church - namely CCAC - as many may be leaving their own hometowns and churches to attend college.
The South Asia Club cultivates a spirit of appreciation toward South Asian history, heritage and culture, and creates an organization where South Asians can come together as part of a distinct cultural group.
Student Advertising Graphics Association (SAGA)
The Student Advertising Graphics Association strives to simulate an environment of professional working experience, allow closer networking among peers and professionals, and encourages greater participation of alumni in CSUN's graphic design department.
Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC)
The Student Athlete Advisory Council allows representatives from all different sports at CSUN to have a voice about ways to improve CSUN's sports programs and to reach out to the community and student body to help support CSUN's sports as well as help make a difference in the community.
Student Dietetic and Food Science Association (SDFSA)
The Student Dietetic and Food Science Association provides the framework for meaningful student involvement, stimulates interest in the profession of Dietetics and Food Science-related fields, and develops channels of communication between students and advisors.
Student Environmental Research via Engineering (SERVE)
The objective and the goal of this club is to raise awareness of current environmental issues and to promote research opportunities that can lead to a more sustainable future. Students from the engineering department will take lead on selecting research topics; however, each team can consist of students from all disciplines of study.
Student Finance Association
The Student Finance Association mission is to build and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, and firms, and encourage all CSUN students who are interested in finance, real estate, and financial services.
Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)
The Student Health Advisory Committee recommends scope of service, hours of operation, fee-for-service charges, mandatory fee levels, annual budgeting, and serve as the formal contact between the Student Health Committee and the CSUN student body.
Student Organization for a Holistic-approach to Health and Leadership
The purpose of this organization is to help cultivate student leaders and raise student awareness of preventative healthcare, integrative medicine and holistic wellness. Preventative healthcare focuses on diet, exercise, stress-reduction, and self-care; integrative medicine is a combination of conventional medicine and other alternative practices, such as acupuncture, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga etc; and holistic wellness is an approach to health that focuses on the interconnectedness of biological, psychological, and social health factors. On top of educating students and promoting the above mentioned health-practices, our goal is to organize events in which students can actively participate in fun, engaging and health-benefiting activities. Furthermore, we will provide networking and internship opportunities which coincide with the organization’s core values.
Student Philosophy Society
The Student Philosophy Society promotes student interest in the study of Philosophy and encourages a professional spirit among those who are interested in philosophy.
The Sustainability Club is a student led organization that serves as liaisons’ to the Institute for Sustainability. As a club we advocate for the development, research and promotion of sustainability within the student body of the university and its serving community.
Tau Sigma National Honor Society (Transfer Students)
The California State University, Northridge chapter of Tau Sigma is committed to recognizing the achievements of transfer students while building a supportive community. Our members serve as both ambassadors of California State University, Northridge and advocates for both current and prospective transfer student to the CSUN.
The Association of School Psychology Graduate Professionals
The Association of School Psychology Graduate Professionals at CSUN is an organization for graduate students and alumni in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education, Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, School Psychology program and CSUN students interested in the field of School Psychology. The association serves as the official graduate assembly and as such is committed to enhancing the experiences of current students, faculty, and alumni of the School Psychology program. The association provides educational, professional and social opportunities encouraging and enhancing professional growth and development. Furthermore, the association seeks to create a cohesive and lasting experience that will positively impact its members and alumni for years to come.
Union Salvadorena de Estudiantes Universitarios
The intent of this organization is to empower students, through education, of Salvadoran related issues. Organizational goals include; developing an interest towards higher education amongst the Salvadoran Community, developing awareness about cultural, political, and economic issues that directly affect the Salvadoran Community, preserving the historical and cultural identity of El Salvador.
