Aztlán Graduation and Scholarship Committee
The Aztlan Graduation and Scholarship Committee strives to follow the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Aztlan (M.E.Ch.A.) organization requirements, and raise money for graduations, luncheons, dinners, and scholarships for Latina/o students.
Beta Gamma Nu promotes educational, cultural, philanthropic, and social awareness among students.
C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D Research Group
The C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D. group’s principle goal is to give students an opportunity to explore social issues, and to bring awareness to topics that are often overlooked or misconstrued in our society. Through our research, programming, writing and documentaries, we plan to educate and inform individuals about the issues that have been affecting many of us throughout our lives, but have never really been brought into the open
and discussed in depth. We want to give people a chance to tell their stories and express themselves about topics relevant to them. A
significant goal of the group is to capture oral histories and document them so that they may not be forgotten. Whether to inspire change,
educate, or enlighten the masses, C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D produces real world issues from a universal standpoint. Encouraging shifts in perspective is a
huge objective with C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D., and in order to promote change, spreading awareness is essential. The art of non-fiction storytelling and
writing articles for publication is C.A.P.T.U.R.E.D.’s main means of heightening consciousness, and promoting civic engagement.
The Ceramics Guild encourages students who are interested in ceramics to explore and exchange different ideas by sponsoring exhibits within a social and academic atmosphere.
Chicana/o Graduate Student Association
The Chicana/o Graduate Students strives to better serve their community and department while supporting each member in their pursuit of higher education.
Classical Guitar Club strives to integrate CSUN classical guitarists, provide a better environment, and create opportunities that the student body and staff of CSUN might not be able to directly offer us. Establish a name for the CSUN classical Guitar program and develop it over the coming years.
CSUN Black Graduation Club
CSUN Black Graduation Club strives to provide a support and outreach for graduating seniors of African-American/ Black heritage and any who may affiliate with Article I.
The purpose of this club shall be to uphold the Ten Key Values: Ecological Wisdom; Grassroots Democracy; Personal and Social Responsibility; Nonviolence; Decentralization; Community-based Economics; Post-patriarchal Values; Respect for Diversity; Global Responsibility; Future Focus.
CSUN Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Alliance of CSUN (LGBTA)
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Alliance (LGBTA) of CSUN provides a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental atmosphere upon which members of the CSUN community can dedicate themselves to the political, cultural, educational, and social advancement of campus life.
CSUN Matador Grappling Team
The Matador Grappling Team encourages CSUN students to participate in a social/competitive environment and to be active in a sport and uphold the high standards of CSUN sports club programs.
CSUN Media Entertainment Guild
To inform, encourage and enlighten students’ interest in film and video production, both in practical matters as well as in the aesthetic values. To strengthen the educational process with information, experience and exposure to knowledge that cannot be covered in classes by inviting guest speakers and networking with graduates along with people working in the entertainment industry. The Media Entertainment Guild will generate support from the students and the CSUN community by producing student films, festivals, and special events, thus gaining recognition and respect as a revered part of the academic and social influence of film in the California State University System.
The Theatre Guild strives to supplement the educational opportunities afforded by the university to give students the opportunity to network with other students, faculty, staff, and members of the arts.
Eta Sigma Gamma Sorority, Alpha Zeta Chapter
Alpha Zeta Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma strive to elevate the standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of professionally trained men and women in the health education discipline.
This club is intended for students interested in aspects of game design (including concept art, creative writing, 3D modeling and texturing, audio and programming) to participate in the production of a video game.
Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc.
Gamma Alpha Omega promotes and instills, in every member, the values of honesty, integrity, leadership, scholarship, and unity.
The purpose of Gamma Alpha Theta, CSUN is to promote sisterly love, and enhance Jewish identity. We will be inspiring develop self-growth and character within each individual. Our sisterhood gives back to the community through knowledge, charity, intelligence, strength, friendships, and unity.
Gamma Chi Rho Brotherhood
The fraternity will offer a liaison between a business and a social organization. Its primary purpose will be to allow young males to socially network among their profession or major in effort to benefit their future career, as well as gaining the social and fraternal experience of both brotherhood and Greek life. We are primarily about honesty, respect, and quality over quantity. Honesty is key; the brotherhood will be given weekly summaries of financial statements, as well as internal and external business. Respect is vital; no brother is above another. Brothers are all treated equally, and no brother shall be forced to do anything against their will. Quality over quantity is essential; every brother will be carefully selected and invited into the fraternity. We are here to further our education and create a better future for our members, and this organization shall help shape and form young gentlemen into leaders of society.
Gamma Rho Lambda Sorority
In order to bridge the communication gap between the LGBTA community and the greater local community by promoting a forum for queer and progressive women’s issues,
The goals of the Gamma Rho Lambda Colony are to provide a forum for queer women’s issues while supporting the personal and scholastic well being of its members and breakdown the hetero-normative paradigm intrinsic within Greek Life by establishing a colony of the social sorority Gamma Rho Lambda at CSUN.
At such time, the goal of the GRL colony will be to transition from colony to chapter.

Gender and Women's Studies Student Association
The Women's Studies Student Association advocates improved access to university education for women and equitable treatment of women and men in society.
The Genetics Society of CSUN strives to bring together students with a common interest in the field of Genetics, and provides members with information and activities that would further enrich their education.
Geography Council strives to socialize and form a strong community outside of the classroom. It is also a voice of the department throughout the CSUN campus to recruit possible new majors and participate in school wide events.
The CSUN Geology Club provides the CSUN community with opportunities to learn and explore the geology of our city, region, state, country, and planet through guest lectures, and professional development seminars.
German American Student Association
GASA will establish a German presence on campus to represent and be the voice of German students at CSUN as well as all other students interested in German culture and affairs. GASA will advocate for German students and German supporters to be included culturally in events, activities and cultural awareness.
Girl Empowered Movement (GEM)
Girl Empowered Movement strive to empower young teens (girls) to become their absolute best. We want to build young teen’s (girl’s) self-esteem and help them learn to love themselves for who they are and take care of themselves. Our goals are to personally inspire teens (girls) around the community and leave a lasting impact. Along with helping teens (girls) we want to dedicate our time and services to the community by completing charitable acts of community service.
The organization shall exist to:
1. Provide a community of emotional and social support to students living gluten-free.
2. Educate its members and the gluten-free community on maintaining and improving overall
health on a gluten-free diet.
3. Promote awareness of celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, and the gluten-free diet at CSUN and in the greater community.
4. Improve the accessibility of gluten-free foods and environments on-campus.
Grace on Campus presents to students the challenge of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and serving Him in their relationships and fellowship within the church to provide an environment for developing personal growth.
Graduate Arts Association
The Graduate Arts Association is for students interested in professional development and exhibition opportunities in the arts. The Graduate Arts Association supports exchange of information and ideas, the creation of art, and encourages professional development in a social and academic atmosphere.
Kappa Kappa Gamma believes in a closer union in the bonds of friendship, appreciates the advantages to be derived from a secret fraternity, and feels that in union there is strength for the development of nobler qualities.
Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority
Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. is an academic, community, social, and multicultural sorority. We are a solid network of women in higher education, who have chosen to unite in order to enhance our college experiences. Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. was founded with the purpose of creating a support system for women once they have entered the university. We provide our members a family away from home - in order to facilitate the retention of motivated students. Through the support its' members offer each other, Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Inc. has developed a strong, safe and loving environment where friendships grow, characters build, knowledge is shared, and a multicultural sisterhood is created.

The Marine Biology Graduate Student Association strives to enrich the academic lives of CSUN marine biology graduate students by supporting lectures, student travel to academic conferences, student seminars, student and faculty retreats, and other professional events.
The Painting Guild strives to supplement the studio artistic experience by creating an ongoing forum of artistic development in the hope of continuing an interest in the creative process above and beyond the classroom environment, to reinforce and cultivate artistic growth and to act as transitory support system after graduation.
