African American Music Association
The African American Music Association strives to expose students to African American music from a historical, cultural and contemporary perspective.
African Students Organization
The African Student Organization strives to mobilize and foster increased cooperation and coordination among broad coalition of students, international organizations, and individual faculty and staff members committed to the progress of empowerment of Africa and peoples of African ancestry.
American Indian Student Association (AISA)

The American Indian Student Association provides an opportunity for members to work together, actively promote the academic success of its members, instill cultural pride within the membership on the campus.
Armenian Student Association (ASA)
The Armenian Student Association cultivates a spirit of appreciation toward Armenian language, culture, history and heritage, promote Armenian studies, support members in the pursuit of their academic and personal goals.
Asian Pacific Student Union
The purpose of this organization is to promote awareness of Asian American culture throughout campus and beyond. At its core, our organization seeks to encourage others to be open to learning about different Asian American ethnic cultures. This organization will unify students from different backgrounds with an emphasis on Asian American culture.
Aztlán Graduation and Scholarship Committee
The Aztlan Graduation and Scholarship Committee strives to follow the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Aztlan (M.E.Ch.A.) organization requirements, and raise money for graduations, luncheons, dinners, and scholarships for Latina/o students.
The Ballet Folklorico Aztlán de CSUN is a dance organization whose focus is on promoting the rich cultural background of the Mexican community while teaching its participants the wide variety of regional dances which exist in Mexico.
Black Student Union
The directive of the Black Student Union shall be to remain creative, diligent and proactive in all matters affecting Black students, while strongly promoting and aiding the academic excellence of its members.
Central American United Students Association (CAUSA)
The Central American United Students Association strives to cultivate the idea of creating unified and coherent strategies for the development of the ideology of self determination for the people of Central America.
Chicana/o Graduate Student Association
The Chicana/o Graduate Students strives to better serve their community and department while supporting each member in their pursuit of higher education.
Chinese Student Association
The purpose of this organization is to enhance friendship among members and promote greater awareness and appreciation for the latest developments coming from Chinese society, and to help incoming Chinese students become comfortably integrated.
CSUN Filipino American Student Assocation (FASA)
The Filipino American Student Association provides activities that promote closer unity among Filipino Americans and involves Filipino Americans in the propagation and maintenance of the Filipino cultural and historical heritage.

CSUN Hillel provides a forum for the exploration and enjoyment of the Jewish heritage in all its dimension by creating a meaningful Jewish community on campus.
CSUN Russian Club
The purpose of this club will be to enrich the cultural understanding of and appreciation for the classical and modern Russian culture of its members.
CSUN Students for Israel (CSI )
CSUN Students for Israel strives to bring a greater understanding of the state of Israel by providing educational opportunities in regards to Israeli politics, current events, history, and culture to the entire faculty, staff, and student populations at Cal State University, Northridge.
Culturally Innovative Talented Youth (C.I.T.Y.)
Culturally Innovative Talented Youth (C.I.T.Y.) is an organization helping to promote the hobbies and artistic talents of students within CSUN as well as the Asian American community in a constructive and socially meaningful manner. The organization will also promote excellence in academic achievement within the students. The goal of the organization is to encourage group self esteem and an appreciation of diversity.
Deaf CSUNians
Deaf CSUNians offers educational experiences outside the classroom in leadership development and personal growth through the provision of social and cultural activities for deaf students.
German American Student Association
GASA will establish a German presence on campus to represent and be the voice of German students at CSUN as well as all other students interested in German culture and affairs. GASA will advocate for German students and German supporters to be included culturally in events, activities and cultural awareness.
Hermanas Unidas de California State University, Northridge (HaU)
Hermanas Unidas de CSUN strives to reach out to the Chicana/Latina community and provide resources as well as a family networking system through the avenues provided by the three pillars of Hermanas Unidas, academics, community service, and social events.
Hip Hop Think Tank
The Hip Hop Think Tank exists to facilitate, provoke, and realize positive movement through academic analysis, research and critical discourse relative to issues which impact and/or emanate from the world of hip hop.
Indian Student Association (ISA CSUN)
The purpose of the Indian Students Association, CSUN (ISA CSUN) is a platform for social network amongst both Indian and non-Indian students at CSUN. ISA CSUN strives to fulfill the following goals through helping Indian students to acclimate to the new cultural environment, encouraging students to get involved on campus, organizing cross cultural education events and creating an enjoyable and friendly environment where Indian students involve with other students and learn from each other.
Iranian Student Association
The Iranian Student Association's purpose shall be the promotion of Iranian Culture. The organizations aim will be to provide students with an understanding of Iranian culture, history, politics, and heritage through events and student interactions.
The purpose of the Italian Club is to provide a means by which CSUN students, staff and faculty can enjoy the unique Italian culture, history and language in a non-class room setting.
Japanese Student Association
The Japanese Student Association strives to introduce the Japanese language and cultures, produce internal and external sociable events, mediate informational needs, and compensate contingencies through its efforts.
Korean American Student Association
The Korean American Student Association strives to secure the general well-being of all its members, promote mutual interests that assist in the expansion of cultural knowledge, and to introduce Korean culture to all students.
Latino Business Association (LBA)
The Latino Business Association is a student organization established to provide financial assistance through their annual scholarship drive and assure academic advancement while in the university.
Lebanese Student Association
We, the members and board of Lebanese Student Association, want to promote the Lebanese culture at CSUN and to unite and serve the Lebanese community. Also, to educate the CSUN general student body about Lebanon, the Lebanese people and culture. As well as form a closely knit Lebanese community on campus.
Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano/a de Aztlán (M.E.Ch.A.)
M.E.Ch.A. strives to maintain unity among Raza students and community members at CSUN by developing and implementing ways for a better education based on cultural and political consciousness.
Nigerian Student Association
The Nigerian Student Association is a culturally and professional driven organization. The mission of this association is helping students develop professional and networking skills essential in launching a successful career in that various academics fields.
Northridge Indonesian Student Association (N.I.S.A.)
Northridge Indonesian Student Association stives to gather Indonesian and California State University, Northridge students into a community where they can meet, interact, and learn more about Indonesian culture.
Saudi Students Association (SSA)
Saudi Students Association encourages friendship and a sense of community among students and their families in the United States, and promotes the culture, development, history and religion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to people in the USA.
South Asia Club (SAC)
The South Asia Club cultivates a spirit of appreciation toward South Asian history, heritage and culture, and creates an organization where South Asians can come together as part of a distinct cultural group.
Vietnamese Student Association
The purpose of this organization is to unite students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as the community at large, and to promote educational, social, cultural, and political development of its members through its diverse programming.
