The total length of the GeoTrek was about 135 MILES and it was completed over a 12-day period. After each hiking day a rest day or two was taken during which pictures and a description of the previous day's hike were posted on the hike-day links shown below so that you can see what was accomplished.

Today's Geology students represent the future of our profession and, with the cost of education going increasingly higher, they need our help to finish their degrees in a timely fashion. This event occurs only once every two years, so since Gene won't be pestering you for contributions next year, you can afford to be extra generous this year. Also encourage your employer to support the Scholarship Fund, especially if they provide matching funds.
