Faculty in attendance at the 50th Anniversary Reunion from left to right included: Gene Fritsche (emeritus, sedimentation and field geology), George Dunne (emeritus, structural and field geology), Vicki Pedone (chair, stratigraphy and stratigraphy field), Elena Miranda (structural and field geology), Kathie Marsaglia (sedimentation and tectonics), Dick Heermance (stratigraphy), Dayanthie Weeraratne (geodynamics), and Doug Yule (neotectonics and field geology).
No alumni were in attendance from the first decade of the university's history. Six alumni from the second decade showed up and they included from left to right: Mike Werner (BS 1976, MS 1979), Diane (Evans) Phillips Ferree (BS 1978), Chuck Real (BS 1969), Julie (Fowler) LeFever (BS 1977, MS 1982), Greg Farrand (BS 1969), and Tony Reid (BS 1976, MS 1979).
Eight alumni were there from the university's third decade. From left to right they included: Dave Liggett (MS 1987), Brian Swanson (BS 1988, MS 1996), Glenn Striegler (BS 1984, MS 1995), Mike Ponek (BS 1979), Howard Brown (1978), Susan (Carter) Reid (BS 1979), Mark Davis (BS 1986), and George Freitag (BS 1986, MS 1989).
From the university's fourth decade from left to right were: Jonathan Miller (BS 1997), Glenn Striegler (BS 1984, MS 1995), Chris Bonds (BS 1992), and Dan Miller (BS 1991).
Alumni from our most recent decade from left to right included: Shelby Dawson (2005), Natasha (Galvez) Dunne (BS 1999), Scott Bennett (BS 2004), and Evelyn Hernandez (BS 2006).
Students presently enrolled in the university from left to right included: (front row) Noel Velasco and Jeff DeBoo; (middle row) Colleen Garcia, Marsha Lidzbarski, and Jean Rains; (back row) Shelby Dawson, Matt Raimo, Mike Kaericher, Alex Jensen, John Johnson, and Alex Hanna.
