The Geography Map Library is part of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) and is a Congressionally designated depository of government document maps published by the U.S. Government. The Map Library's government document map collection includes materials from the United States Geologic Survey (USGS), the Department of the Interior (DoI), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), as well as other federal documents published by the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). Access to government documents is guaranteed by public law (Title 44 United States Code).
