If you’re looking for information on grants, loans, scholarships, work-study or any other financial aid resource, you've come to the right place. The best way to begin the financial aid process is by starting with the basics and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
You may be subject to a verification process and asked to submit certain forms and documents. Once the necessary paperwork is in order, you will find out if you qualify for grants, loans or work-study. You may also independently apply for scholarships, and seek other resources.

The University is required to file a Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for CSUN students who were billed for Qualified Tuition and Related Fees during the calendar year. The Form 1098-T is used to compute eligibility for education related tax credits. Read more
