The priority Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) deadline is March 2, 2014. If you need assistance with your FAFSA, check out the online video tutorial "7 Easy Steps to the FAFSA," or attend one of our workshops.
Income Tax filing resources:
If you need help filing your tax return, check out the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at CSUN. If you plan to prepare your own tax return, take a look at comparison reviews of online tax software before you begin the process.
Outstanding Graduating Veterans Award:

Spring 2014 Financial Literacy Workshops
Attend the financial literacy workshops to learn about various money management topics, such as student loan repayment options, budgeting, banking, credit, investing and purchasing your first car.

The federal government provides a number of tax incentives that may help lower the cost of higher education. Read about the various tax credits and deductions.

A referral slip is required from the first-floor financial aid window. Visits with a financial aid counselor are limited to 15 minutes. Please have your questions ready.
