Campus Eligibility Requirements

The student nominee must meet the following criteria:

Must be enrolled as a classified student.
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in 6 units or more.
Graduate students must be enrolled in 4 units or more.
Works an average of 10 or more hours per week on the Work-Study Payroll during the academic periods.
2.0 GPA or higher.
Has been employed at least 6 months at the time of nomination.

2007- 2008 Awards Luncheon

This year's awards luncheon was held on April 11th 2008, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the University Student Union Grand Salon.

Who Attended the 2007-20087 Awards Luncheon?
Students that were nominated by their supervisors, supervisors who were nominated and special invited guests. This year's Work-Study Awards Luncheon was hosted by Financial Aid & Scholarship Department.

The key note speaker and awards presenter was CSUN Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Terry Piper.

All students and supervisors nominated by their supervisor were sent a letter informing them of the nomination and invitation to the luncheon. .

All supervisors nominated by their students were also sent a letter informing them of their nomination and invitation to the luncheon.

The student winner received a plaque and a $3,042 scholarship for the 08-09 school year to help pay for tuition.

The second student winner received a plaque and a scholarship check in the amount of $75 for the 08-09 school year.

The third place winner received a certificate and a scholarship check for $50 for the 08-09 school year.
