NEW INTEREST FROM OFF-CAMPUS AGENCIES
Off-campus agencies interested in participating in the Federal Work-Study Program, please send Josefina Carbajal, Work-Study Manager, a letter of interest. The California State University, Northridge Federal Work-Study Office only offers contracts to off campus non-profit organizations during the month of June for the upcoming academic year starting in August, if funds are available. If our office is able to offer new FWS contracts for the next academic year, prospective off-campus non-profit FWS employers will have to attend the annual FWS supervisor meeting that is usually scheduled during the months of April and May. Therefore, it is best to submit your letter of interest no later than the month of March. Your letter must include the following information:
- Brief description of your non-profit organization & whether you charge the community for your services
- How long your non-profit organization has been in existence
- How your non-profit organization is funded
