TO-DO LIST

The Financial Aid awarding cycle has begun for 2009-2010. We are ready to move your financial aid application to the next stage of processing; however, we are missing certain documents required before we can proceed. It is CRITICAL that you respond as soon as possible as funds are limited in most financial aid programs.
Check your To-Do List status on the myNorthridge Portal (http://www.csun.edu)
Select My Path to Graduation > Student Center (SOLAR) > To Do List (located on the right side of the page).
- For "How to Guides" please visit http://www.csun.edu/solarsupport
- Click on each item, and follow the instructions in the description.
- Items will be removed from the list when received, so check your status frequently.

Print only the form(s) requested,
complete each one in blue or black ink and return it to the Financial Aid & Scholarship
Department. (Please note, not all items require form submission). Read
all the information requested and follow the instructions. Your name
and Student ID number MUST be on every document you submit. The forms are available at http://www.csun.edu/finaid/forms.html. If
you are not able to print the form(s),
please contact us. If you have been asked to submit verification
documents, the CSUN Financial Aid & Scholarship Department may make
changes to your FAFSA based on the documents you have provided.
Because of federal and state requirements, you are required to complete
these actions in order for us to make final financial aid award determinations.
Failure to respond will prevent evaluation of your eligibility and payment
of any eligible financial aid funds. PLEASE ACT NOW.
This e-mail and your application for financial aid are not official unless YOU:
- make Satisfactory Academic Progress (http://www.csun.edu/finaid/sap.html);
- provide academic transcripts requested by the Admissions and Records Office
- are enrolled in an eligible financial aid program. (Programs ineligible for financial aid include some Post Baccalaureate Unclassified, Transitory, or certain Extended Learning programs.)
The Financial Aid & Scholarship Department will evaluate your eligibility after your file is complete. We will send you a financial aid notification by e-mail, approximately within one month.
Until your financial aid award is posted on your myNorthridge Portal account, you do NOT have financial aid.
