Additional Loans for Graduate Students

The CSUN Financial Aid & Scholarship Department now offers a loan program to students in Master degree programs – The Federal PLUS loan for Graduate Students

A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file and you must apply for other types of aid first. You must apply for the maximum amounts in the Stafford Loan Programs.
All required paperwork must be submitted and evaluated.
You must have good credit.
The interest rate is fixed at 8.5%
Repayments begin on the date of last disbursement of the loan (There is no grace period).
You must be in a Masters Degree program.
You must be achieving Satisfactory Academic Progress as established by the CSUN Financial Aid & Scholarship Department.

You may borrow up to the full cost of your education (determined by the CSUN Financial Aid & Scholarship Department.
