Fall 2009
Is the economy making you think twice about continuing your education? Let us show you
how financial aid can help. The first step is applying for financial aid. You begin the process at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Information on completing the FAFSA can be found at 8 Easy Steps to the FAFSA: A Student’s Guide (developed by UC Santa Barbara). When you click on the link, the Closed Captioning Button is located at bottom right of screen.
If you want to use financial aid to protect your Fall enrollment and to be available by the start of the Fall semester, you must file your FAFSA by May 1st AND return any requested documents by June 1st. Any financial aid awarded will be contingent on your making Satisfactory Academic Progress towards your degree.
For those of you who are graduating this semester, you have our congratulations! We are proud to have helped you reach this important milestone in your life. For those of you who are continuing on with your education next year, have a safe and restful summer. We’ll see you in the Fall.
Cordially,
Lili Vidal, Director
Financial Aid and Scholarship Department
