Grew up in a large family in a working class neighborhood in Ohio.
I came to CSUN because I love this type of campus - big, diverse and with an opportunity to teach undergrads and grad students all the while doing really great research.
I teach introductory courses in human and physical geography, plus upper division courses on crime geography, business geography, statistics and field studies.
My research interests are in predatory lending, crime and popular culture.
