Sign-In Logistics and Procedures

More Complete Sign-in Logistics & Procedures Coming Soon

The full document "redtape.html" is still being generated. You'll receive a hard copy of it with a packet of information that will be mailed to you  in early July.  If you accepted the offer to join CSUN after July 1, then you should receive this packet within a few weeks after the Office of Faculty Affairs receives your acceptance.

  1. Your department must submit your PAR [Personnel Action Form] to Faculty Affairs, along with your Hiring Packet (Note: The Hiring Packet is separate from the Sign-in Packet).

  2. You must complete the Employee Sign-in Packet and send to Human Resources. Please submit the forms via fax to Human Resources on or by July 20 to expedite assignment of your CSUN employee ID number.

  3. Once you're in the system, you can apply for an account through an online request form at http://www.csun.edu/it/services/useridandpass.html , or call Email Account Creation at 677-1400 and give your ID number to set up your account.

Campus Parking Permits & Information:

  • Once you're logged into the system, you can download the application for a parking permit online at http://www-admn.csun.edu/ucs/forms/parking.htm. Note that you need to mail the completed form in to University Cash Services.
  • You may also purchase parking on a "walk-in" basis at University Cash Services in the Student Services Building [SB 100]. Call 818-677-2318 for their current hours and ask if they have set up a separate line for faculty. To buy your permit you must present your Faculty Photo ID issued by Human Resources. • If you're coming onto campus prior to getting your permit, ask your department secretary to make arrangements for free guest faculty parking for you for that day.
