How to Apply to a Public Sector Management Cohort

  1. Work with the PSM Office (818) 677-7763 to ascertain, as much as possible, that you are admissible to CSUN as a transfer student. This requires that you are (or are close to being) GE certified with 60 transferable units and a GPA of 2.0. If you have questions, please contact the PSM Office.
  2. Obtain official transcripts from all institutes of higher education that you attended.
  3. Complete the PSM online application for the cohort you wish to attend. NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, each PSM cohort is open to all eligible applicants – association with the partner institutions is unnecessary.
  4. Submit the application electronically. Send a check for the nonrefundable application fee of $55 with your official transcripts to:

Next Steps

Upon receipt of the documents described above, PSM will:

  • Provide advisement, as necessary for the individual student
  • Inform each student of acceptance to the program and admittance to CSUN
  • Refer students to the Financial Aid Counselor for The Tseng College for assistance in making application for financial aid
