All-Campus Budget Summit

Along with the Faculty Senate, Associated Students and the unions representing Cal State Northridge faculty and staff, President Jolene Koester is inviting all members of the campus community to an all-campus Budget Summit.

When: Over the lunch hour, Thursday, March 13, noon to 1 p.m.

Where: University Student Union, Grand Salon

Why: To learn about the Governor's budget proposal (which fails to fund $386 million requested by the Board of Trustees for the CSU), the consequences of the budget proposal for Cal State Northridge, and what the campus community can do to help preserve access to affordable, high quality education at Cal State Northridge and throughout the California State University.

The budget summit will provide an opportunity to understand the issues and come together around strategies to advocate to Sacramento on behalf of the California State University.
