HOME: A Multimedia Project on Climate Change

Two Performances: Thursday May 4, 2023 at 7:30pm and Friday May 5, 2023 at 2pm. CSUN showcases a new multimedia performance that addresses climate change and the anxiety related to this environmental crisis. This new work includes students and faculty from three different colleges (Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication (event hosts), College of Health and Human Development, and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences) and five different departments (Africana Studies, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Music, and Theatre). An exhibition in honor of Bee Colman, Emeritus Faculty from the CSUN Department of Art (1971-2006), who passed in July 2021. The exhibition surveys Bee's art, from her MFA thesis through work completed just prior to her passing, and includes work from many of her former students who carry and expand her legacy. Read more
