Steps to Apply for CSU Northridge EOP
If you are interested in applying for EOP at CSU, Northridge just click on the option below that applies to you and follow the steps detailed in that section. Make sure you review the EOP Criteria to verify that you qualify to apply.

Steps to Apply for Freshmen
- Set up myNorthridge Portal - Activate Account
- Verify that your CSUN application is complete - You can check by logging onto myNorthridge portal at www.csun.edu
- You must meet generational and financial criteria - Review EOP Criteria Section
- Submit SAT/ACT scores to Admissions & Records by January 11, 2013
- Submit the following documents to EOP Admissions Office:
● EOP Application
● 2 Recommendation forms (no friends or relatives). At least one must be academic (from a teacher or counselor). If I apply on CSUMentor, check CSUMentor and email frequently until I'm notified that both have been submitted.
● Financial documents (Learn more about this requirement by clicking here)
- Take EPT/ELM placement tests. Register for the test/see if you are exempt
- Apply for Financial Aid by January 11, 2013.- Visit the FAFSA website for more information
- Interview with CSUN EOP (by invitation only)
- Intent to Register – Submit by May 1, 2013
Steps to Apply for Transfer Students
- Set up myNorthridge Portal - Activate Account
- You must meet the EOP Criteria - Review EOP Criteria Section
- Submit the following documents to EOP Admissions Office:
● EOP Application
● 2 Recommendation forms (no friends or relatives). At least one must be academic (from a teacher or counselor). If I apply on CSUMentor, check CSUMentor and email frequently.
● Unofficial transcript
● Financial documents (Learn more about this requirement by clicking here)
- Apply for Financial Aid between January 1st and March 2nd- Visit the FAFSA website for more information
- Secure University Admissions by March 16, 2013
- Complete Intent to Register by July 1, 2013
