The following majors Accountancy, Business Administration: Business Finance/Financial Services Options, and Computer Science are impacted majors. All entering students must meet the minimum CSU eligibility requirements before consideration to one of the impacted majors. The following information is to inform you of the requirement for these majors. Routinely eligible First Year Students will be placed in Pre-Accountancy. Routinely eligible Upper Division Transfers will be placed in Pre-Accountancy. Admissions to Accountancy will be limited to students at the upper division level. For additional information call 818-677-2461. Business Administration: Finance and Financial Services OptionsRoutinely eligible First Year Students will be placed in Business Administration. The Finance and Financial Services option are limited to upper division students. Upper Division Transfers must have 60 units, a 2.50 grade point average, and four basic subjects of general education completed with grades of “C” or better. If the student has 56-59 units, a 2.00-2.49 grade point average, and four basic subjects of general education completed with grades of “C” or better, the student will be admitted as Business Administration. First Year Students will be ranked for selection by the department using an eligibility index based on high school 10 th and 11 th grades and the SAT or ACT test. The ranking will be forwarded to the department for review. Computer Science applicants whose files were incomplete and forwarded to the department for review, will have their major changed to Undecided. The department will determine the number of new students that can be accommodated in the major. The review process, by the department, should be complete by February. Students not selected will be admitted as an Undecided major. An alternate major may be requested. Upper Division Transfers will be admitted to Pre-computer Science with 60 units of college work, with an overall grade point average of 2.00, and four basic subjects of General Education completed with grades of “C” or better.
