1. Advanced degree: M.A., with Linguistics (including ESL) or English Language specialization; or Ph.D., with significant Linguistics instruction though not necessarily specialization; or M.A. in TESL; or comparable experience.

2. Experience and documented effectiveness in teaching introductory Linguistics.

From $628.20 per course per month (for a six-month pay period) to $752.60.

Applicants should forward a current resume and a letter which designates specific courses or areas they are interested in teaching, proof of degree (i.e. photocopy of diploma or transcripts), and 3 letters of recommendation. Whenever possible, applicants should provide times available for teaching assignments. The resume should include educational background, prior teaching experience, evidence of scholarship, and/or related professional experience.
