B.A. Ohio University (1989); M.A. Ohio University (1992); Ph.D. University of Southern Mississippi, Center for Writers (2001). Professor Hall teaches courses in 20th C. poetry, creative writing poetry, creative writing studies, and disability studies. Her interests include the contemporary American lyric, memoir of illness, disability studies, queer identities, and the literature of Toni Morrison. She is the author of the poetry collection Swimming the Witch. Her poems and essays have appeared in several journals, including Disability Studies Quarterly, North American Review, Water~Stone, Mississippi Review, and The Cincinnati Review, among others, as well the anthologies In a Fine Frenzy: Poets Respond to Shakespeare (Iowa Press 2005) and The Norton Mix (Norton & Norton 2010). She is currently at work on a collection of narratives based on Iranian women's escapes.
