Mission Assurance and Chief Engineer,
Northrop Grumman Space Technology
While I was a student at Cal State Northridge, I was very active within the CECS campus. This includes being the former Treasurer and President of the Society of Women Engineers and the former President of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. I was also an undergraduate research assistant under Dr. B. Bavarian for over two years. I worked closely with the Undergraduate Research Program students and staff. Through this program, I was also fortunate to work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory with respectable scientists.
Subsequent to my graduating from Cal State Northridge in December 2002, I was offered a position with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). I currently work at the LADWP (Water System) as a Mechanical Engineering Associate. I have experience in the rehabilitation of existing water distribution pipelines and the design of large water transmission pipelines.
I am a current MBA student at Pepperdine University. I anticipate to one day hold a high management position with the LADWP. I also am very active in real estate investing, for I truly believe in the importance of becoming financially independent.
