Mr. Schwarz has managed major projects over the last 30 years in the oil industry and more recently hospitals. He spent much of his time on projects at the Prudhoe Bay Oil Field at the northern end of the Alyeska Pipeline with ARCO Alaska Inc. Work involved the design, procurement, fabrication in the lower-48 and Asia, barge transportation and installation of some of the world’s largest industrial facilities. More recently he managed environmental remediation projects for petroleum and mining sites across the Western United States, supported construction of the first West Coast grass roots Polypropylene Plant. He currently is Director, Construction and Project Management Services, with the UCLA Health Sciences Capital Projects group. Mr. Schwarz holds a BS and MS in Engineering from CSUN and attained his PMP certification in 1993.
