Description: Proper typing skills?!? Here's your chance! For 5 weeks, your child will learn a skill that is no longer taught formally in most schools and yet it is still necessary in today's world of technology. Learning how to type is a foundational skill needed to efficiently write all the essays and papers that teachers require. This course starts with finger placement and provides an overview of how to type different letters, numbers, and symbols quickly, accurately, and without looking at a keyboard. The students will enjoy watching their measured growth in both speed and accuracy over the duration of this class.
