We are thrilled to share the good news that the Eisner Foundation board has approved a general operating grant in the amount of $400,000 over two years to CSUN for the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. This is a renewal of the 2-year support we received from the Eisner Foundation which ended in December, 2021. This funding is especially welcomed with the significant increase in student enrollment in our college credential programs as we work to meet the teacher shortage and diversify the teacher and other school-based workforce while dealing with budget cuts with the pandemic. Thank you very much to the Eisner Foundation for their continued support, and thanks to all of our college family who helped with this process. Read more

In the meantime, our college is still committed to celebrating everyone who completed their programs. Each department put together some kind of virtual celebration for their students, such as congratulatory videos, special messages on their websites and social media platforms, and mailed completion packets.
