College of Education Joins CSU Deans' Statement on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

The Michael D. Eisner College of Education at CSUN joins with CSU deans in support of a statement on diversity, equity, and inclusion. "As Leaders of Colleges and Schools of Education in the California State University System (CSU), we are directly opposed to any theory, practice, or action that interferes with the educational process. Our goal is to ensure that we prepare educators who can uplift, inspire, and engage students, all students."

The Family Focus Resource Center Distributes Books for Babies and Toddlers

The Family Focus Resource Center distributed books for babies and toddlers to Early Intervention service providers as part of an outreach program. Because families have not been able to visit us in our offices this year, we reached out to service providers instead and shared the books with them so that they can pass them on to parents of young children when they come in for their therapies. Wendy Murawski Wins Awards, Presents, and Publishes

Wendy Murawski

Dr. Wendy Murawski, executive director of the Center for Teaching & Learning and a professor of Special Education, was the 2021 recipient of the Preeminent Scholarly Publication Award for CSUN. She also made numerous presentations this summer in Denmark and Sweden, as well as for the ASCD national conference. On top of all that, she has a new book out called "Special Education Law and Policy: From Foundation to Application".
