CSUN Science Learning Collaborative Wins California Subject Matter Programs Grant

CSUN Science Learning Colaboratory

The CSUN Science Learning Collaborative (CSLC - including faculty from the Michael D. Eisner College of Education and the College of Mathematics & Science) was awarded a grant to lead the California Subject Matter Programs in supporting the integration of Computer Science across the curriculum. CSLC will take the lead in helping all the subject matter groups get started on learning about the CA Computer Science standards and how these can be integrated into different subjects. Read more

CSUN Giving Day

UPDATE: Giving Day is over, and we want to thank everyone who helped make it a success! Your generous contributions will do much to help us achieve our mission.

CSUN's Giving Day is a 36-hour online fundraising event starting from 5:00 AM on March 1st, 2023 and ending at 5:00 PM on March 2nd, 2023. We encourage all members of the Matador community to participate, including students, parents, staff, faculty, alumni, friends and community leaders. The goal is to have as many participants as possible come together to raise financial support for student success. Read more

Educating India’s Neediest Children

On December 25, 2022, Joshua Einhorn (MDECOE Grants Officer) visited a school in India in his capacity as pro bono Global Advisor to The James Jay Dudley Foundation. He brought a large suitcase full of books donated by The Book Foundation of Los Angeles, and also contributions from private philanthropists to sponsor the purchase of curricular books for all 65 of the school’s children.
